Why should I have my pet professionally photographed?

I strongly believe in the importance of having professional photos done of your four legged friends. To have a photograph is to have a memory, a forever memory. It is just like having your family portrait done, as pets are family too! Brooke Byelich Photography aims to catch these moments in a professional and loving way.

Will you travel?

I will travel up to a 35 mile radius free of charge. I am willing to travel to Northern Colorado as well for a small fee of $35, including Fort Collins, Boulder, Longmont and surrounding areas.

Do you only take pictures of dogs?

Although I post a TON of dog pictures, I enjoy being around all types of animals. I would love to photograph just about any animal you have!

Will you take pictures of people?

Being a photographer that specializes in pets, it will be rare for me to photograph people. If you are extremely interested, contact me and I can quote you a price.

Can I be in the pictures with my pet?

Of course! I actually encourage it! I love to capture the bond between humans and their pets. Remember, our sessions include only up to 2 pets and 2 people before an additional fee of $25 per person/pet applies. (Limit at 4 pets/people, unless specially quoted)

Do you sell digital files?

The products we offer come from the most high quality printing labs. We would absolutely love to see you enjoying the presence of images hanging on your walls or placed around your home. When given digital files, there is a high risk of those just sitting in a desk drawer. If you are still interested in receiving digital images, we do offer them. Please inquire about them at the time of booking and we can quote you a price. Digital files start at $125 a picture.

We do offer low-resolution digital files to be shared on Facebook and other social media sites with most of our packages!

My pet is not so well behaved off leash. Will this be a problem?

Not at all! I'm used to photographing pets on leash, especially when taking pictures of dogs at the animal shelter. All your finely tuned images will have leashes removed, you won't even notice they were there! We will provide leashes for the session that are easy to remove in editing.

How should I prepare for our session?

We encourage you to have your dog groomed a couple of days or so before your session, even just a good bath and brush out will work! If you have a young, high energy dog we also encourage you to take your dog for a walk an hour or so before you arrive at your session. This way your dog will be somewhat more relaxed during our session.

How much does a typical client spend?

Most clients spend on average between $600-$1000 (including session + products). We do offer interest-free, flexible payment plans for everyone.
